The theme for today was apparently ceramic chickens. Round stylized guinea fowl, countrified things, small mantle toppers, etc. We wandered around Leesburg, shopped minimally, and failed to find the Smithsonian Shops outlet store, possibly because it no longer exists.
However, I now have a tea kettle (on the grounds that when making things like Thai tea, which actually want boiling water, I can walk away from them and the kettle will tell me when to come back) and Psychokiller Barbie has a lovely new assortment of detailed weaponry. (the KB outlet had an assortment of GI Joe style accessories, without involving an actual doll)
And I posted pictures of the doll buttons from a week or two ago on craftster: here there be doll-sized buttons, several of which were for
kittymaru's dolls.
