Baby wren chorus!
This was yesterday morning:

"La, la, la!" (except that often when they are doing this they're not making any noise at all.)
I am so glad I don't belong to a species that breeds by the half-dozen at once. Not only did my brother not spend a lot of time stepping on my head as a child, I will never have to spend weeks hunting insects to fill this many voracious little mouths at a time. Just saying.
