here am I, little jumping joan
13,292 words, which means I've written more words today than any day previous. Of course, I also did virtually nothing besides sit in front of my computer, so in words per hour (the statistics of which I am carefully not recording) I'm not doing as well. I contemplate a change of scene; finding a coffee shop or something where I can go for a while with my laptop might improve productivity. Then again, since I really don't like writing when people I know are around, possibly a room full of strangers won't be conducive to writing either.
At any rate, I finished chapter 6, which was initially going to be mainly fairytale based, and then spun itself out into a lot of setup and background for the rest of that timeline. But I've solved one problem (and created a more interesting one to think about) that was going to come up in a later chapter. And now I get to go on to The Frogs (staging complete with a miniature donkey!) which should be a lot of fun to write about.
Mood: (since it's too long to fit in the box) both bored with the whole writing thing, and completely not interested in doing anything else with my time. With luck this will pass, since there are all sorts of interesting things going on next week...
