...despite the fact that I haven't actually made her christmas present yet, let along sent her the thing I got for her in TN, and that I totally blew off the weekend she was going to come visit to go out of town and give a boy his white scarf, and didn't even send her an e-mail for her birthday... I got a box in the mail today. And it had an avenging unicorn playset in it. And a gummy t-bone steak, and blueberry lip gloss in a small plastic toilet key chain. Among other things.

I think something terribly interesting is going to have to be in her future. :)

Yay for the package actually getting there! There was supposed to be a letter in there as well, but then my mom offered to mail it, so I opted for getting it off my desk where it had been gathering dust all month. The lip balm made me think of the plastic poison ring, the unicorn was supposed to go with your violent barbies, (though it's a little small I figured it has the right attitude, I saw it at an open air market and thought it screamed your name) and although I'm not so much with the searching out gummis anymore since I don't eat gelatin, I couldn't resist the hideous steak with it's
"approved by the international gummi association" stamp. I mean, look at the thing. So fascinating. So hideous. Was the tea any good, by the way? Obviously, I was unable to find the kind you wanted, but I really like the tea shop I went to, so I hope it's good.

I finally tried the tea this evening (there was an interlude of discovering whether we actually had anything resembling a tea ball, and then a while where the tea ball in spoon form was downstairs with the mug and the kitchen, but the tea was still upstairs...) and it's pretty good. Although now I contemplate tracking down some chocolate mint rooibos tea akin to the stuff I had at a tea shop in doylestown with heuchera. It exists may places, but my internet is being dumb, and so was not loading websites properly.

and... I have to ask... is the NYC condom meant as a gag gift or an encouragement? If it's supposed to be printed with the skyline or something, I'm not opening it ever...
