it's my journal; I can be cryptic if I want...

I think it may be time to retire from field work. Despite it being lovely out. My legs hurt unnecessarily, among other things. Mysterious meeting (postponed from monday) is rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon, so we should see what this is all about.

And goodness but this craftster thing is a bad idea. I spent about two hours reading e-mails from the three swaps I'm in and the one I want to join after getting home from work today. Blech. If this keeps up, I will never have time to craft! Not to mention sleep and eat and interact with real people or update my lj or anything. (Clearly I need a stupid office job with full-time internet access to keep up with these people. Sigh.)

And has anyone else gotten caught in the "slows" around that curve of the beltway past the mormon temple and looked up to think the angel with the trumpet was directing traffic? ("You! Slow down! You, over there, stop now! Ok, you can go... now wait, not you in that other lane...")

Nope, not cryptic enough. I feel like I had a total understanding of what you were talking about. Try again :)

Yes, but unlike everyone else on this list, I've actually talked to you recently.

Yeah, the fairy swap looks really chatty. The two I'm in are smaller than yours, one has 14, the other 7, and there's not a lot of activity on either, which is actually pretty annoying to someone who has a job with full time internet...

Actually, it's the best of the three... the Crafty detective swap is an issue, since you can't talk to your partner, so people have been asking broad questions, and having the entire list answer. I really need to stop reading everyone's answers but my stalk-ee.

Are other people allowed to be cryptic in your journal too?

It may be from lack of food. (if permitted)

Or I guess that might be a non sequitur.

You can be cryptic anywhere you want. But if it's in my journal, I reserve the right to ask what you're talking about. :)
