Maybe I'll take some more doll pictures before I put them all away in a box.
So, it turns out that the person I was considering visiting in Boston on the way to VP is moving to (how did you guess) San Francisco at the end of the month. So, I'm back down to nobody I actually know in Boston (just rumors of interesting people whom I haven't met) and up to at least ten friends/family in the greater San Francisco area (and that's not even going as far afield as
zagzagael, or counting people I haven't met personally.) Plus various more northerly left coasters, which is more than I knew in Boston even in the days when everyone seemed to be moving to Boston & environs.
I still don't want to live somewhere that never snows, full of weird plants and earthquakes. But I do kind of miss my friends... :/
Ok, time to go back to this project that seems to involve mostly staring at things and dropping my scissors on the floor. (Only, now I have the sewing machine downstairs in front of the a/c, so I can sew lots of straight lines, instead.)

Besides, people keep telling me that if I really want snow, there are perfectly good mountains right over there.
