Day 3
It might have been more impressive if I'd taken the pictures before it rained... but the two big blocky shapes under the tarp are piles of cinder blocks, and except for that bottom corner that's not entirely covered, it kept the rain off reasonably well. The pantry glows blue, now.

Some other sort of neat stuff from the aquarium that I probably shouldn't go on about, the dehumidifier continues working, and we have a new sump pump, although it isn't in yet. Since we also haven't needed it yet, this isn't much of an issue. Dishwasher is still not solved, though, and the maunfacturer's website seems convinced that if the soap doesn't dissolve it must be a problem with the soap or your water heater and offers no diagnosis options for what might be wrong with dishwashers.

I struggled with non-dissolving soap in my new dishwasher, too. We are on a septic tank so even getting The Viking to agree to a dishwasher was tough....but after much $$$ and tears we found that Cascade Complete is the only soap that works. Good luck.

This is a sudden onset dishwasher problem, as in it worked fine two weeks ago & now fails to get through the casing on those silly little capsule things in two wash cycles. Not a problem with the soap, I think. Unfortunately, other problems involve wasting ridiculous quantities of water trying to diagnose, so I haven't quite got to it.

Mine did that, too - perfect and then one day no more. I think the soap IS the issue. YMMV.
