Snow!

This is the view from my window this morning:



ooh, pretty! and by now it has mostly stopped snowing, so the main roads should (theoretically) be passable by the time I have to drive back south this evening. But after this year's pathetic excuse for a winter, an actually decent (8 inches or so!) snowfall is really nice to see.

No fair! They've been predicting snow, or at least wintery mix here this weekend and we get rain and then sun. Rain! Of course, I suppose that's what I get when I move to the south.

Better than the view out my window. Definitely better than the audio I woke up to of plows going through + one rather irate person.
But it is much better now, went for a walk with scenes of snowball fights and sledding, kids will always find a semi safe place for that even in the middle of a city.

and here I remember someone griping about living in a place where it snowed in March, and how glad she'd be to move south. :)
