thanateI'm not skipping work-- exactly... but it's far too nice a rainy day to go in and listen to FAR too many people crammed into the lab and complaining about how awful the weather is. So I'm going in late, and staying after they all leave. We'll see how well that works out...
Meanwhile, I have made my first *real* quilt block, and it has castles on it! (for the quilt swap, of course) And I'm working on some other swap stuff (although there are high heeled shoe soles for Lady drying!) but I thought I'd post a couple doll pictures from the sunday before last...
Rogue meets The Glass Cat. They're not quite sure what to think of each other, possibly because they're each used to being the only artificial-creature doll around.

Waif has had to give up the ancient sport of rabbit bowling, due to wear and tear on the ball. Pathos Bunny is now in quarantine in a miniature fishbowl while his ear and foot get glued back on, but sadly I couldn't find the picture I took of that. Oh, and my wrist and right arm dislike me, I suspect due to too much crochet and not enough hydration over the weekend. Phoey on them.
