thanateInternet junkie that I am, I checked e-mail this morning, and discovered the standard 10 or so craftster and SCA posts, along with one from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation telling me that they're trying to build a networking website for everyone who's had such a scholarship in the last 50+ years (since they started, I assume).
I find it odd for two reasons... first, I'm only in because my school guaranteed all finalists a scholarship, despite financial need, (so I have a tendency to forget about it, since it was effectively book money) and second, this is a database that my parents and all my mother's siblings are getting invites for, as well.
