*Find ducks. Put in row.

*Avoid the beltway.

*Sleep.

*Pre-wash fabric, cut out two frock coats, make dress for Lady and/or frock coat pattern for Lady, complete several (as yet unfinalized) things for doll swap, hang out with [livejournal.com profile] grauwulf, drink tea, write things, pet the cat, spend some time downstairs paying attention to the cat, make some new pants that fit & I'll wear, plan how to inventory fabric, possibly start inventory of fabric, sleep more, waste time online, do laundry, finish processing vacation pictures and actually post a few, clean my room, clean my brother's ex-room, vacuum the downstairs, cook & eat, possibly walk to Stacey's (figure out how to walk to Stacey's from here) on the grounds that this is exercise.

Um, yeah, never mind...

ignore me in my ratchet costume... but http://g36.net/ocdesigns/photos/me/ratchet01.jpg in the background you can see my fabric bins. THey're sorted by color. The bins should be on sale here soon since target has them for "back to the dorms" type sales. You see two sets of the wire bins there. anyway. It's been a really great way to keep my fabric. I thought I'd have trouble since I can't SEE the fabric, but really it's been great.

I'm actually happy with the paper boxes that it's in now (they stack well, are small enough I can still lift them no matter how much junk I put in them, and I can usually snag more for free someplace when they break) but the problem is that I have insane quantities of fabric and need an actual database to keep track of what I have and where it is.

I even have a database all set up (except for tweaking once I sort out what my system really *should* be) it's just the actual step of how to tag the fabrics and then getting them all into the database. Oh, and dealing with the awful realization that I've hoarded so much fabric I need external help to keep track of it all...

Eep, that's lots. Figure out what I can help with ( cleaning, laundry, fabric sorting, whatever ) we can knock it out tag-team style. *stern nod*

Walking to Stacey's would be nice. I'm sure that there are some good path ways between.

vaaroooooommmmm!

I've got my parents' cat for the week again. For entertainment (of the cat of course), I recommend yoga. YMMV, but this cat comes and lies on inconvenient body parts, then gloats. It seems to be highly satisfying to him.

Mmm, fabric.

The things in bold might actually be likely to happen. I thought about going back and adding a bunch more things on my secondary to-do list, but then decided that was probably a bad idea.

But the pre-wash stuff is in the machine now! (although I added "fix seat of sewing machine chair" by ripping of the tape that had been patching the hole in it or rather peeling up from doing so and being sticky all over me and turning it upside down in the middle of my floor...)

Nice. (sadly, I don't really know any yoga, though)

Apparently taking a nap on the couch while he snoozes on the cat tower is sufficiently entertaining; the difficulty is that he wants, but won't come into my corner of the house, and so anytime I come downstairs he has this bad habit of sitting there yowling at me. It's like having a cranky but mainly self-sufficient infant around. Who throws up in the middle of the stairs...
