yay-- disregard previous!

Ok, so aparently it really was just the power cord that was failing to work, and not the computer's connection to the power cord, so I have borrowed my father's spare, and will do battle with the apple store this weekend to complain that the replacement cord I got in September somehow managed to die already. phoey. but I have computer, yay!
