a note from your mother...
May. 18th, 2006 09:38 amSo as usual the work schedule around here is fluctuating wildly (which I guess is ok, as in this case it's towards more work and here I am trying to save much money for potential library school-or-something, though occasional days off are nice too) and I may be spending the next two days colating binders of pictures for the next project, which begins on Tuesday...
We get to spend possibly as much as a month wandering around St Mary's Cemetery photographing & recording the condition of grave markers, to determine whether they've been damaged by the Wilson Bridge construction. And apparently there is a school sufficiently nearby that they don't want unlabled people wandering around the graveyard without notes from their mothers (Steve and I pointed out that we *could* get notes from our mothers, if necessary...) and so we have to get official badges with our pictures on them to prove we're in some way genuine. I suggested that we all dress up in black and gothy make-up instead. That would make the school people happy, right?
But I mean, they're going to pay me to hang out in a cemetery. hee hee. :) ok, back to cataloging all the nails in the world...
