(no subject)

So, just over 12K, which is far, far, behind on the 50. Although I'm thinking perhaps I'm not going to worry about that, as I was thinking maybe it would be better just to make sure I at least write *something* every day (be it only a couple sentances) and revise my goal to be getting to the end of the storyline. Because having thought of it, I realize that this will most likely be a better story if I don't try to drag it out past 30K or so. Unless there's a part 2, I guess... we'll see what happens.

Caroline has been accosted by a talking snake, tried to cross-question the pig with very minimal results, and carried a bundle of sticks for the old man who ties his goat to his waist so that it won't fall off when it eats the grass on his roof. (ok, that's from a very old story/sketch thing that I don't remember all of, and the only bits actually in my story are the man, the goat, and the roof with grass growing on it) He is about to give her something interesting and useful, but I don't know what it is yet.

And now, having spent my free evening writing 500 words and sorting/puting away laundry, I am going to bed.
