as I suspected...
Oct. 16th, 2006 12:30 pm...field work is postponed until Wed (or whenever it stops raining) and there is very limited lab work so we're just declaring tomorrow a day off. Guess I didn't actually need to pack everything last night after all. Oh well... I'm not about to complain about another thing I don't have to do tomorrow. All the more time to write in, or find a phone store and actually look at my options...

I may go around asking everyone what the biggest lie they can think of is. Although I don't know that I'm likely to get anything useful that way... I think my problem is that most of the basic scenarios of this sort involve sorts of things Dunyazade wouldn't think of (you know, like hunting stories... mice don't do so much of that in the general run of things...)
In any case, I am actually working on chapter seven now, and Argent has discovered and is about to meet Xanthias and the donkey. But... this may happen tomorrow.
