I have an elegant new phone. It is charged & ready to activate and play with. Now I have to go to work, phoey. Oh well... it'll still be here when I get back.

The new phone is online, takes crappy pictures (as advertized) and I can't figure out where they put the apostrophe in the text message interface. And all the included ringtones are terrible, and I'm still working on exactly how (and in what sound format) to get something else on there. I have the file on my computer. 23 seconds of music, which apparently requires 4+mb to store as a WAV file... (does this sound reasonable?) and it disappeared into the ether when I tried to send it to the phone. Hm. Oh well. Sleep sound much better than sorting this out right now. (from which you probably can't tell that I'm not actually displeased or anything, just a bit confused by all this)
