...and I found another excellent christmas carol: Remember o thou man (Thomas Ravenscroft, written in 1611) Verses 2-5 are perfectly ordinary. But verse 1 is easter-ish and totally unprovoked. "...remember o thou man how thou art dead and gone..." hee!
