linkage, among other things...
Oct. 30th, 2007 08:46 pmWhy it is important to instill in your children a good work ethic: fortunately, I am mainly brilliant in my private life, rather than at work...
And for those of you who do projects rather than writing: NoNewSewMo... although I rather think that those of us who do nano should designate another month for sewing and/or other unfinished projects. Because deadlines are the brilliant/procrastinator's friend.
And somehow my novel has broken 82.3k, and far outstripped my car's mileage once again. That'll change in another few weeks, but still. I have... about half the loose ends wrapped up. They won't get finished by tomorrow (in fact, I think I may be done for the moment, given the impending November thing) but most of it more or less makes sense. To me, anyway; we'll have to see what anyone else thinks of it after I've had a chance to tidy up the end. I mean, poor Argent *is* still dead...
In other news, we are still DONE with the site on Friday, whether or not we finish anything (further hindered by the fact that the media want to descend on us tomorrow, now that we've dug up everything interesting and are trying to find subsoil) I may or may not be deathly ill by that point.
...and they now make plastic poison rings with actual skull and cross bones on them. Tee hee!
