block 5 is dead
Nov. 2nd, 2007 06:49 pmso, given that I have a cold that's trying to turn into a sinus infection, I went to sleep about 9 pm last night and my word count is still under 800. (and part of that is from this morning)
However, Brian (affectionately termed "big noise" by some of our co-workers) has decided he's going to "win this thing" without, of course, having even looked at the nano website yet. So I've got to get my word count up so I can start texting him asking how far behind he is.
Oh, and my first chapter title? "7.5YR5/6 Strong Brown" (this may change...) The interesting thing about writing about archaeology is deciding how much of the terminology to use, and how much to explain.
