that was fun...

So I woke up, and it was far too early (surprise!) but I got up and did all the things one does to prepare for a field day and then left the house and it was raining. Which seemed strange, but I hadn't heard anything about not going out, so I ran back into the house to grab a couple plastic bags to line my boots with in case we really did work, and then left. I got about two minutes out when Greg called to say no, we're not going to bother going out today and failing to be able to work in the rain.

The logical thing to do at this point would be go back to sleep, of course, but what do I do? Scrutinize the Dover books Winter Sale, and then start beading again. Oh well.
