quest for supplies!
May. 2nd, 2008 01:31 pmI'm looking to do some recycled-paper notebooks-- which is to say, taking paper of all sorts that's still usable, and rebinding it all together. But I need papers! So...
If you have writeable materials in semi-decent condition (anything! that printer test page that's just printed with color blocks on both sides, once-used wrapping paper, the subway sandwich wrapper that didn't actually get grease stains on it, blank or mostly blank newsprint, the hideous page out of the scrapbook pack you got that you'll never want for anything, the last quarter yard of cheap muslin that you're never going to use to make mock-ups out of...) please save it from your trash or recycling and send it to me! Wrinkled is no problem, I can iron it if it really needs the attention. I'd prefer things to be not much smaller than standard 8.5x11", but bigger is fabulous, and I'll be happy to work with whatever.
Drop me an e-mail (thanate at thanate.com) if you're not local & need my address. I'll send you something nice in exchange, I promise. Thanks!!

unread books meme
May. 2nd, 2008 11:21 pmThese are the top 106 books most often marked as "unread" by LibraryThing users. As in, they sit on the shelf to make you look smart or well-rounded. Bold the ones you've read, italicize the ones you own but have not read.
