Of wandering, and not, depending.

So it seems that my brother can't decide whether he would rather have someone else drive out with him, or have the extra space to pack stuff in, so it looks like I won't be going on a mad jaunt out to CA. This may be just as well, although the lack-of-wanting-to-be-at-work wanderlust was really starting to kick in. Oh well. I'll just have to decide how I want to get to SF in July and get tickets for that.

At any rate, I spent the afternoon wandering aimlessly around the Mall (DC, that is) and Smithsonian with poppet and camera, and so Alistar has now done the DC tourist thing. Sadly, the only tourist clothing small enough to fit him (or even with a logo small enough to cut down for him) was a sweatshirt that came with bear attached, and I hadn't quite the heart to buy a bear just so I could steal his clothes. But other than that, much fun was had by all, including the other tourists who seemed generally amused by me wandering around photographing someone small and green. Someone suggested I do a "where's Waldo" style photolog.

Now, however, I think I shall go back to contemplation of more quilt blocks. And, um, avoiding my resume...
