"the rain is falling down, along with the sky..."

I woke up from strange and convoluted dreams about wandering around ruined cities which I can no longer remember more of (sadly, the first thing that comes on the radio when it goes off is the last little bit of news, and news announcer voices are very effective at waking me up before I've filtered the dream-images from dream into my conscious mind) and it's still raining. I want to go back to bed and just lie there and listen to the rain. Apparently there are school closings and delays in several counties because of the traffic and/or flooding.

Fortunately, rain and I are on the same team.

I get two points for (finally! what has it been, a month?) replacing my watch battery. I am no longer timeless, and it is very comforting.

And for those keeping score at home, the soon-to-be-next entry is for the crafty detective swap, and is probably not of any particular interest to you. Unfortunately, it may keep showing up in your friends' list, and I will be trying to move it up to stay at the top of my posts until my stalkee gets her package and reads it. You have been warned.
