Quote for the day (slightly paraphrased, since I wrote it down on a piece of paper I left at work):
Steve, talking about Indiana Jones: It bears a closer resemblance to Donald Duck cartoons than it does to archaeology. But then, I *like* Donald Duck cartoons.
----
It appears that six and a half hours of sleep was not enough for today, and I am back to having a headache. Which is sad, as I already did that Monday, and then slept almost 12 hours and felt so good on Tuesday that I couldn't stand the thought of going in to a horribly crowded lab all day. Although it turned out that several other people thought this too, and so it was not too crowded, but at least according to Donna there were epic battles over what music should be played. And they left both the stereo and my speakers on all night, which was wholly unnecessary and irritatingly wasteful. (so, um, instead I stayed home, created some measure of order in my room--good-- and, um, spent too much money online. I owe myself about 20 more hours of work I wouldn't otherwise have done to make up for it... at least I restrained myself from ordering a Narae as yet.) And then we went to School for Scandal at the folger, which was greatly amusing, if terribly silly, and didn't get home until late.
And I was handed the most fascinating bit of scary christian propaganda on the way to the play, which there might be a picture or two of later on.
