(no subject)

Yay it is raining!

Boo, my head still hurts. Although it has moved on to dull ache, rather than burning muscles at the back of the eye sockets reaching back to places I'm pretty sure I don't actually have nerve endings. Bah. Still want to be able to take out my eyes and massage the muscles behind them. Why is it that people with headaches feel the need to talk about them?

On the grounds that I can't do much of anything useful at work at present, I am going to get off the computer, have some tea, and attempt to vacuum. That's useful, right?

I cleaned out and vacuumed my car (since when I went to get out the vacuum cleaner hose I discovered it had been left in the garage) and then vacuumed the worst 2/3 of the downstairs. Head is feeling slightly less ick, so perhaps I'll trade off and attempt to do something project-like for a while before tackling the velvet bits in my room.

I am still working out the difference between "I am depressive and need other people to cheer me up and entertain me" and "I hate everybody, but if they all go away and let me read/write/make something I'll be fine." Knowing that I go through both states is a good start though. Also, I definitely need to be reading more modern psychology and brain/behavioral research.

Anyway, I have proven myself no longer able to hold a coherent conversation (tuning out mid-sentence) so I am going to do that thing with the sleep. At least the headache seems to have wandered off.
