Today's award for best homepage goes to: River Junction Trade Co, who has also reassured me as to my concept of vest construction. Although I haven't made up the pattern yet, as I tried on the vest I wanted to pattern from to double-check the fit, and it's cool enough I don't want to take it off yet. (yay fall weather!)

And now it is nearly time for the mall to open, so I am going in search of waterproof walking boots to try on.

I have funny-looking shoes. They're relatively comfy and flex much better than any of the glamorous gore-tex things, but need a bit of breaking in; possibly this evening I will tape my feet and go for a walk, since gaming has been cancelled.

The mail has arrived, sadly without doll. Possibly better for today's productivity this way, though. Now it is time for tea, and lunch, and making a vest.
