The rejection letter game continues; I have thus far three for this year (two with helpful "why this was not our thing" commentary) and as of a few minutes ago, two stories out for response. Cover letters-- those simple works of two or three sentences-- still reduce me to the state of the stubborn 5th grader who tries to prove that staring at a hated homework assignment long enough will make it go away, but I am getting better. Now to finish more things worth sending forth...
