Bah.

So, grauwulf has been missing his fun co-workers, from back when he worked at the company he really liked, before they stopped being really likable, and they've started a geek get together night every month or two. And he said did I want to go along this evening, to which I said sure and had my coat on and everything when I discovered that (despite an earlier effort on his part to change where they were meeting this time) it's at everybody's-but-my favorite local underground restaurant. It's not exactly my sort of place, but it was just fine until they changed something with their ventilation system about a year and a half ago, and every time I've been there since I've had intermittent gusts of cigarette smoke wandering through, no matter where I sit. Most other people don't even notice, but it's enough that I took my coat back off and didn't go, and now I feel bad about that, too. Bother stupid people, and their stupid smelly toxic burning things.
