Well. We're on the upward swing beyond the second round of grauwulf deciding he didn't need meds & turning into a quivering pile of useless, tho this time he reconsidered before the panic attack stage. We have tentative measures in place to prevent this happening AGAIN. I on the other hand *love* my meds, and have not returned to a sobbing mess on the kitchen floor despite intense provocation. But I'm taking the evening to sit in bed with my sort-of-like dinner (pecans, carrot sticks, tea, cookies when I'm done with that) & try not to shiver while the other two watch football or something. And that's without the possible near miss of accidental nuclear disaster...
We had a brief break in the cold [[ok, interruption by my child coming to explain pedicures to me & say that she thinks perhaps she wants one?? but only if we go somewhere else, not at home.]] during which I moved some old stacked wood & began to move the last bit of the back fence out of the way in preparation for making a tree house w/ swing & climbing net. The Megatherium has already named her tree house (the Dino Tree House; she's been watching a lot of Dino Dan) and keeps asking me if I've built it yet; I have yet to manage to convey the scale of the project.
Today it is cold again, but in a normalish winter sort of way if we could but remember what that feels like anyhow, and I've been trying to reorganize the sewing room sufficient to be able to a) find the dinosaur print fabric I want to make my child flannel-lined pants with and b) actually be able to move. (ha) Seriously considering including the I Put the Mess in Domestic crest in my next Urban Threads order, tho I have actually not yet embroidered anything I wear on a regular basis. This week their half off sale doesn't even have anything I really want in it, for a wonder. (It is possible that they will yet end up with Far Too Much of my money.) I'm vaguely considering doing the mailing things in February thing & just send people machine embroidery motifs. Not communication, but maybe "little good things" at least.
