I have walked in ancient stone circles, ruined cathedrals, and the footsteps of all the pilgrims to Canterbury, marveled at ancient earthworks, spent more money on trains than I care to contemplate, seen more sheep than I can count, and looked upon the colossal stonework of the palace of Ninnevah, and the Elgin Marbles. (er... I can't quite account for the fact that I somehow failed to be aware that the Elgin Marbles were actually all the good bits left from the Parthenon...)
