Caroline has met the snake, and is about to have, er, harp trouble. Sorry. Which means that next she's either got the sorcerer of the weaver (and a road! there are roads in this wood!) preferably the former, because as I recall he gave her something to eat. And the girl is going on two days of walking with nothing but a thicketfull of raspberries to eat, and still has a dangerous enchantment to escape from before she can get any food.

Also, the trend of things getting longer in the re-write continues, which is promising, as I wasn't initially sure the plot would hold out much farther than 30k, which is inconvenient when attempting to write 50.

In other news, it's fall (pretty leafy things outside my window! and all over the ground!), and I need to go see about a lawnmower, before I forget again.
