Snow angels
Feb. 10th, 2010 05:03 pmI braved the blizzard conditions (in which the National Weather Service says "Do not go anywhere! We mean it!") long enough to take a few doll pictures and deliver the most attractive-looking of the cookies I just baked to the neighbors who helped dig us out last time, and
grauwulf went out and shoveled up and down four houses worth of sidewalk as a nice change from whatever-it-is-useful that he's been doing on his computer. The snow continues to fall in large flakes and blow around in circles, and it remains cold, but so far that's about it.
These was taken on our roofed-over porch, after about three hours of not being shoveled or swept. I tried to do some shots in the deeper snow, but the layer of newly fallen fluff was too thick, and there would have been nothing to see but a few black flutters sticking out of the snowbank.
