Still not sanded

The stairs remain only marginally sanded since the sander head in the multi-tool I borrowed from my father de-laminated itself & fell off. I have now glued it back together, and we shall see if that works at all when it dries.
Meanwhile, a few pictures:

Snow the first (Feb 6) with the uphill neighbor and his valiant snow blower. Note that the blower is significantly shorter than the snow.

Snow the second (Feb 10), with
grauwulf shoveling his way down the sidewalk across the street by way of getting 15 minutes exercise. He is a restless wolf and does not appreciate being confined to so small a space as the house.

Snow the pile, also known as Happy Valentine's Day to the neighbor with the snowblower; the vehicle behind it is one of those big SUV/truck things. This part is still there, although it is now slightly less tall than I am.

What with the work on the stairs, Miss Beryl has ceased to sit sulkily in the corner of the landing, and been put back up on the bookshelf. The back of her outfit is still pinned together, as my sewing machine has decided that it is only necessary to catch the bobbin thread on the left side of a buttonhole. Possibly I should look into this problem...

And Tisquantum remains sweaterless, but he acquired Felicity's Guitar and an elegantly silly hat for the moment, and continues to sit poised above my desk, ready for I know not what.
