So as I think I've mentioned before, my parents are going off to England on friday, and not coming back until the 8th. And I don't even get to have a big party or anything, because all the people I'd invite are either having their own parties, or going out of town. Or generally both. I would leave too, but I have to stay home and take care of the cats.

I feel that if I were a better person, instead of whining about this I would be looking forward to all that uninterrupted writing time at the beginning of the month. Clearly, I am not as virtuous as I should wish to be.

But my hair is clean. This, at least, is something I can appreciate.
