Someone put on a CD in the lab at the aquarium this morning that a previous employee had left behind which was a mix of pop and country-western songs of the sort that inspires one to stop occasionally and say, "wait, what did that just say?" One of these had a repeated line something on the order of "Comrade Polecat don't take no crap," but it appears that Google doesn't believe me when I ask it to find such a phrase. Does this ring any bells with anyone?

(I contemplate real content, or perhaps a flood of incidental pictures if I ever get them off my camera, but... well, as you see.)

Oh, and he's saying "gun rack, ball cap, don't take no crap."

But I prefer Comrade Polecat and officially consider those the lyrics now.

That is very sad. And I was all excited to find out what Comrade Polecat had to do with anything, too... phoey. (thanks for the ID, anyway)

I shouldn't have told you, I feel like I ruined Comrade Polecat. :(

Well, odds are someone else would have pointed it out eventually if you hadn't, and then I would have had to face both the disappointment and explaining to someone's uncomprehending stare *why* it was disappointing. There are far too many songs in the world that aren't nearly as exciting as I want them to be.

Possibly I should now go out and write the Ballad of Comrade Polecat, although having looked over the actual lyrics, the original doesn't really provide a lot to work with.
