thanateNo pictures for today; it poured down rain, and I cleared out the corner of the basement while the contractors peeled off the rest of the former back wall and did something involving much banging upstairs that I didn't get a look at (probably framing of some sort). The roof is going to have to hang out as tarped plywood until it stops pouring long enough to put shingles on it-- with luck this will happen by Thursday or so.
Tomorrow, I get to go buy new filter canisters for the breath mask so I can bleach the bit of basement floor I just rediscovered. Also, a longer size 9 circular needle. With luck it will warm up enough that I can face eating some of the exciting greens assortment I got from the farmer's market this weekend; today it didn't actually top about 65 out. Of course, half the state of Texas is burning down while we're busy being deluged...
