Roof!

We have shingles!!! The roof vent is still on the porch, but that should go up tomorrow. Also, say goodbye to the mimosa; I'll be cutting it down shortly. (It's in front of the electrical box, and invasive, so I'd rather move it than the box & panels)

Unfortunately, one of the guys dumped the giant tarp off the roof right on top of my garden and managed to snap *another* branch off the poor pepper plant that lost a giant chunk for each hurricane, too. The natives are fine (the garden stake I never managed to put a hummingbird feeder on protected the blueberry bush, and nothing else much cared) but all my experimental food & craft plants are taking a beating.


What to do with the a giant pile of shingles & siding in the yard. (Look! I got a picture of grauwulf where he wasn't walking blurrily away from the camera!)


Yes, it really does say "nail gun-able roof vent." It is also possible that I'm the only one who is terribly amused by this.
