Yes, exactly! There seems to be a whole class of common self-esteem issues that I just completely fail to understand, and I think this is part of that. Even at the moments where I'm going around saying "I hate being me," I wouldn't actually want to trade for being anybody else. Same goes for what I write, and career flows from that.
On the whole, I think most of my problems on this front stem from having to talk to normal people.
