So, let's see...
Nov. 7th, 2012 09:57 amWe have conclusively proven that Mitt Romney, like the Quebecois separatists, can't even win a rigged election, and the people of MD have decided the newlywed girls next door get to to stay married. They also decided to keep the appallingly jerrymandered (um, how is that spelled?) redistricting plan, by a rather larger margin, but hey, we tried. Having grown up in Northern Virginia through years where my mostly liberal and at least fairly sane neighbors were consistently outvoted by the deep-south level "conservative" crazies downstate, I continue to find it weird to live in a state where the liberal Democrats behave nearly as badly. But this is also the only place I've voted where I felt it was safe to cross my fingers & vote Green party for president, so there's that. Anxiously awaiting everyone shutting up about politics again for a little while.
Anyway, I've had a stupid sinus headache since Monday night, and I still need to eat and pack up the cat to face his doom (um, yearly vet check-up & booster vaccines) so perhaps I should get on that.
