Today is leap day; I have done nothing monumental, and it is raining in great torrents.

This is not the color I expect to get out of a bottle labeled "forest green." I am considering trying to overdye it in darker blue, but at least thus far it's more the color of actual chartreuse than "attacked with a highlighter," so I may let it stand for a week or so. (And yes, that is
grauwulf kindly providing a white background...)

I don't think whoever's in charge next door quite thought this through.

But when I look straight out the bedroom window instead of down, there's this. Which makes it better, for as long as we've got oaks. (And it occurs to me that the clear-cutting of the lot next door may actually help the big oak out some. Here's hoping.)
