thanateLast night was a discussion of Avengers personalities and where exactly the line is drawn between a trickster and a villain (my contention being that Loki of the Avengers movie-- admittedly neither of us has seen Thor-- is definitely all the way into villain territory, and that the narrative even says so in his line about having "gone too far for that.")
Tonight... I forget how it started, but something was pointed out to which grauwulf said:
"Tumblebunnies!"
(pause)
th: Is that like a tumbleweed, only with long ears? That goes rabbita-rabbita-rabbita-rabbita until it gets stuck in a barbed wire fence and gets eaten by coyotes?
(g looks at me funny)
th: What? You came up with it.
g: I did not come up with rabbita rabbita. Or the coyotes.
th: No, the tumblebunnies!
g: Well, bumblebunnies, then.
th: So, a pollinator with long ears that goes bzzz-boing! bzzzzzz-boing!
At which point there was the need for speculation about whether the hop or the buzz came first.
Rabbita-rabbita.
