thanateAchievement Unlocked: crawling. Mostly. Only she's not very good at it yet, and so she'll be wiggling across the rug yelling crankily at the top of her lungs. Unless she's chasing the cat, which can be done with a grin. Though we also find that all fuss is actually a clever ploy to get my hair within reach of grabby little fingers...
I think I was going to write about something else, but maybe we'll go for a walk instead before the latest dance of the little mammals gets out of hand.
(Also, re: the subject line for those who don't follow this stuff: this is the thing that other genre people are all cranky about this time. And while I totally get why, both from a "what on earth is wrong with this nutter?" and "who lets this crap get published?" angle, I find this one absolutely hilarious. Possibly because I don't actually know the author, which makes it harder to take seriously, but also because if someone had gone out of their way to write up a parody of the "get off my lawn" old guard SF crowd, it would have looked exactly like this.)
