I have aquired the dominyk plague, and while it's not as if I have anything better to do for the next week than lie around and be sick, I would have greatly appreciated being able to go out to the event yesterday and support people. Sigh. Instead I have spent so much time in bed and off and on asleep recently that my ears hurt, and while I'm pretty much over the fever bit, my mother tried to have us get up this morning to eat breakfast, and I discovered that I wasn't up to being vertical (let alone talking to people and explaining this) without feeling dizzy and about-to-fall-over before about 1 pm. So I am improving, here, but will probably remain MIA for the next couple days. blech.

yeah, I have improved to the point of feeling like I could actually get up and do something if I wanted to. Though the incentive is still not quite there. But I did spend a bunch of the morning reading a book, so that's also an improvement. Of course, the book was something my mother handed me that takes place in a world where people are suceptible to horribly devastating flu/plague epidemics, which is perhaps not what I really needed to be reading about just now, but anyway... behold me, not dying. um, yeah.
