I got a spam e-mail in german this morning. And a book called "The Rainbow Dictionary for Young Readers" (with a couple entries cut out of it) for ten cents at a yard sale.

And I have far too many pictures to share.


This is the real side of a truck, out of which they sell food down the street from the lab. Brian told us about it, and we totally failed to believe him. But it was true.


This barrel, however, is not edible. I am uncertain as to why anyone would have thought it was.


...and there was a toad in the field yesterday. Almost as big as my palm, and trying to hide from me under a blade of grass. Silly thing, I can still see you...


New vest. (well, I made it on monday, I think)


new toy. He looks a little like Christopher Robin, except for the hair.


Pretty! (good lighting, and in focus larger-than-life... although then I shrank the pictures down, so they're pretty close to actual size as displayed on my monitor)







...I think it's just the wig. But he totally looks like a girl in this hair...

Although pretty soon I think doll pictures are going to have to take over psycho_k_barbie's account. She's probably not going to be pleased.

he's a boy, complete with sculpted boy-parts to prove it... the other dolls I looked at getting were all supposed to be boys, too, and looked even more like girls; it's a very anime-styled look, so the girls are much more big-eyed and unrealistic. I figure he's probably a boy, and wants to be called that, but there's always the tiny possibility that he's really just the best disguised girl maskerading as a boy ever.

The toad is pretty, but not as pretty as your doll. He's adorable! I like his hair and his key necklace. How tall is he?

he is! :) he's about 60 cm, which is to say roughly 23 inches. Supposed to be 1/3 human sized. (You can sort of get a feel for that from the one picture where he's standing in front of my laptop, and the one sitting in front of the sewing machine with the bear.)
