So, say you're a tick, and you're sitting there in the grass waiting for something big and warm-blooded to come by so you can grab onto it and suck its blood out. What happens if nothing ever does walk by? How many ticks starve to death?

Also, why does everyone on the doll forum seem to need to put "thanks for looking" after their photo posts? Is it just me, or is this a particularly weird bit of etiquette? I mean, one posts things because one thinks they're worth looking at, right? And anybody who doesn't want to see them, well, that's their choice, and they're unlikely to get to the bottom of the post to be thanked for wasting their time...

And (more pertinently):

**Would anyone be interested in doing another craft/doll/etc day this weekend? And if so, when would be a good time? (saturday afternoon? sunday afternoon?)

Hooray for crafty days. Doesn't matter when, but I might have to take my car in Friday night - if it lasts that long. It's doing a lot of really weird things that it shouldn't be doing.

boo cars not working. :( another of my friends just looked at his odometer and discovered it thought he'd put almost 900,000 miles on the car between two stops for gas.

So does that mean you'll have to drag gorbe_beryl along to give you a ride? Or would you prefer to host instead?

I can't host. We have the neighborhood yard sale this weekend, but it's only until about noon each day, so I have afternoons and evenings free. Hopefully my car won't be gone too long...

I was jsut informed that I don't accually have to work Sunday. This may change, but for now. IF we could do it sunday, I would like to come. Maybe get a chance to have you help me with a cohardee (sp?) pattern.
