seven things

(since this is going around again-- seven things you may not know about me already)
1) I am now the proud owner of a rooster that answers questions. Although mainly yes or no ones... I just finished making it.
2) I have only eaten duck once, and that was on the Air France flight from DC to Paris on the way to Russia when I was 15.
3) I own a small handful of rimfired copper .22 shells. They started making them in brass instead of copper in (if I remember right) the late 1920s.
4) The last time my hair was cut to make it shorter (as opposed to a trim) was when I was in 4th grade. I was unfortunately inspired by Jessica Wyman, and got my mother to cut it off at just above shoulder length.
5) In fact, I've never had professional attention of any sort to my hair. Although I think when I drag him to a ren faire,
grauwulf and I are going to get braiding things done.
6) I am getting better at noticing when my brain clicks over from its "potentially productive" to its "thinking is way too hard" setting, and picking up a brainless project accordingly.
7) Seven is my favorite number. It has been since I was about half-way through elementary school; before that my favorite number was 8, because someone in kindergarten asked me to remember "8" and it stuck. Then I decided that seven was nicer. It is possible that this sort of thought process is why I don't attribute much actual value to numerology.
