rain, please!

thanateToday we set the new record for most consecutive of days without measureable precipitation in this area (34). And while it is supposed to rain tomorrow, they keep pushing it back and back until it's starting to look like we won't get any rain during the work day after all. Phoey. And nobody on the crew can get along anymore, because we're tired and have been working together for WAY TOO LONG.

grauwulf has found a place of living, and will be getting keys tomorrow. (Of course, that means he'll be going away there, but it's only 45 minutes away, rather than 8 hours, so this is an improvement.) Meanwhile, there are now 4 things of the worthiness to do this weekend, of which I can only manage two. Saturday I probably will do University (in Richmond) and Sunday is the doll hallowe'en party for which I've already paid... but this means I miss a craft day at Mathilde's (where I could get the dress I may yet someday finish re-fitted by other people who can pin me into it) and MD faire, where as well as the Mediaeval Baebes (who sound very pretty but wear satin pillow case dresses to perform) there's going to be Wolgemut. I mean, crazy medieval german pipe band... what's not to love? And they have good stage presence, even in the middle of the battlefield at pennsic.
And I should be at fencing, despite being vastly tired. sigh.
Oh, and the doll? Release date postponed until the 26th... no pictures up yet.
