I me the sleep yeah that thing. Wow, I'm tired. I feel like my head is possibly going to fall off. And we got rained out (not that it rained here, but apparently it did in MD) before lunch, and I came home and slept for an hour plus, and am still totally exhausted. No it's not [livejournal.com profile] grauwulf's fault. This project is awful and long and stuff. Waah.

Yeah, so I may or may not make it to university tomorrow (wake up early, drive 2.5 hrs, take fencing classes half the day... um, we'll have to see) which is sad as I now have semi-respectable bog dress for my doll (I tried to make him a proper mid-period smock, but the fitting got messed up so it's too small, thus I started over with something even easier) and was going to bring him along.

And the boy is off and taking posession of his new apartment, and there are lots of snarky/whiny comments that could be made about people at work but just really don't need to happen, and there's a very nice person who's getting ready to crash and burn due to inattention to reality. All of which make me kind of sad.

But I have season tickets to the Folger Theater (including the mystery play the Consort is doing for Christmas!) and a nice comfortable bed which I am now going to sleep in. Yay sleep.

Did I miss the bit about the copperheads, or is that an inside joke or something?

no, one of my co-workers was convinced that the cute little gray and black snake we found in our unit that morning was a copperhead. And everyone else looked at it and said, um, copperheads are copper colored, hence the name. And I said there are only two kinds of poisonous snakes in MD, and it's not a rattler, either.

ahh

That makes sense. I read your post twice looking for the snake reference and couldn't find it. :)

Happily, copperheads are pretty distinctive in appearance. Maybe bring your coworker some pictures of real copperheads - poisonous snakes are a good thing to be able to recognize in the field.
