So there's been a big sign up all week where I get on Rt 1, flashing things about "big event 11/10" and predicting lots of traffic. What they apparently didn't think needed to be mentioned was that this is a big event (memorial museum opening) down at Quantico, for which they're expecting so many people that the (normally northbound at this hour) HOV lanes on 95 just closed half an hour ago to accomocate all the bus traffic heading down from the city. I get off 95 before Quantico, which of course is normally a nice straight shot, pretty much free of traffic, except for waving to all the poor people trying to go the other direction... Yeah, getting to the site is going to be fun. I wonder how many of the others have found this out yet?
