Ok, no self restraint!
Apr. 5th, 2008 10:06 pmBut this is a really cool idea: Quilt block swap! (for those of you who don't want to wade through the swap info-- basically you send fabric to 11 other people, who make you quilt blocks, and then send them back for you to assemble into a quilt. So you get a 12-block quilt, made by 12 different people. Cool, no?)
Oh, yes, and Great Falls Park continues to have rocks and water and they are most excellent. Unfortunately, my ankle is less than excellent, and does not wish for me to walk places anymore. Phoey on it.

I think I would like to play with this. Because the part about quilting I like is making blocks. And I would love to experiment with differnt block patterns. Of course then I would have to actually finish a quilt.

Date: 2008-04-06 05:19 pm (UTC)it's up to the block-maker's discretion. You just send fabric out and get blocks back. (and you should join craftster if you want to contemplate doing a later round, since they want you to sign up for a month and make a few posts before you can swap things.)
